| Some Form Properties not available. Izod 17:43:43 |
| | I just started to use a form. I want folks to enter their email address, then send an email with location of video. I got the form designed but when I went to "Form Properties" the "Send to" is not available. Only "Send to other" is available. I did a repair on FrontPage, and it say's there is nothing wrong with the program. So it's the programmer. What am I leaving out. I think I'm following the instructions to the letter.

I have FP 2000. I have created a subweb that I want accessible by a sign-in page. The rest of the website is public and open to all, but I want THIS section to be accessed by a certain customer and his employees. The security section of the tools menu is grayed out so I can't set permissions for the main web or the subweb. I publish the site to an outside server via FTP. I have tried logging on to my computer as administrator with no luck in un-graying the security. I didn't know if there was another way to create a sign-in page that allows certain folks to access the subweb. I am self-taught in FP so I don't know a want to have a link on that site to the subweb with a sign-in page that connects them. -- Melissa Rhodes

| .wmv file in frontpage Vinceg 04:24:00 |
| | http://www.dancenewyork.com/Interim_Space_Video.htm is a page with an embedded .wmv file. I inserted the file on my local system (File/Insert/Picture/Video), resized to 320 x 240, and saved it. When I preview the local .htm file, it workd just fine. After I publish (using FB publish method), the video does not play, and appears not to be on the page. The video is on the server and will play if addressed directly(http://www.dancenewyork.com/NewStudio3.wmv) but will not open on the page. I checked the code behind the page and it looks the same locally and on the server. A version of the same page using a Flash video works just fine http://www.dancenewyork.com/Interim_Space_flash.htm. I appreciate any advice. Thanks, -- vinceg

I have the guestbook started and it created a guestlog.html, but when I go there, I don't see any of my "test" messages? I just want to be sure to have the ability to remove inappropriate remarks. Thanks!

| Form asking for Username and Password for approx 5 of users? Guest 12:06:53 |
| | Hi,
I have a webform (created with FrontPage 2003) that seems to be working fine.
The form writes the data to a file on the server (_Private folder) AND emails it. 95% of users have no problem and they fill out the form and all happens as it should.
A couple of users have reported that when they press Submit, a dialog comes up asking for a username and password. There is no username and password required. Nothing happens if they hit OK or Cancel, except the form blanks and a white page appears. The data is not sent or written to the file.
I cannot find anything wrong with the form (I suspect there is nothing wrong with it as its working for most users) and it does not seem to be browser specific. One user that reported the problem tried it in both Firefox and IE7 and got the same result in both.
My tests using both Firefox and IE6 & IE7 have all worked perfectly.
Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this?
It seems to be something local to the user but...
TIA
P.

| Web Component - Pivot Tables Dp 02:29:03 |
| | I am trying to create pivot table on our website (intranet) created by FrontPage 2003. Everything seems to be going well until viewing the web page. It doesn't seem to want to connect to the data source. I created a new "data source" from a MS Access 2007 database. The following is what's displayed in the pivot table box on the site:
The query could not be processed: - Data provider could not be initialized. - [Microsfot] [ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] '(unknown)' is not a valid path. Make sure that hte path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.
This seems like such a simple thing to try and do. But I can't seem to figure out this piece of it!
The website and database reside on our company server running SBS 2003. I'm trying to view the website from one of the networked computers.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

| HTML help! Zak 17:53:24 |
| | Hi,
Can anyone help me on HTML please?
I am looking for a code that will do the following:
The word ‘Structure’ will appear in a table on a webpage – when the user clicks on the word Structure a paragraph of writing will appear below it but then disappear when user clicks on the word Structure again.
I think it works a little like an anchor but only it makes the text appear and disappear with a click on a button (the word Structure). Also would this be possible in a table?
Finally, the size of the cell which contains the word Structure should increase/decrease with the appearance and disappearance of the word Structure (i.e. I don’t want the size of the cell to remain big when there isn’t any text in there.)
Hope im making sense!
Many thanks for your help.

No, it's not true. | Getting an error on my photo gallery Angie 06:02:37 |
| | I designed our website with a photo gallery, published it, everything was working great. Each time I try to add/edit pics in the gallery I get an scripting error. I thought it might be due to one of the pics in the gallery getting deleted from my computer. So, I deleted the gallery so I could start over. Now it doesn't matter what pics I use I get the error. I even went to a whole new web to try a generic gallery, same thing. Even when I use the sample gallery in FP, I get the error when I go to preview. This only happens on the slide show gallery. Any suggestions? I losing my mind here!!

| swap picture-FP2002 Ken 19:23:14 |
| | I created a page designed to show before and after images using the "swap picture" DHTML effect in FP 2002. It worked perfectly when I previewed it in my browser, and on a different page on another site I created, but not when I uploaded and tested it on the new site. I'm thinking that because I use an independent FTP client rather than a web publishing wizard, I am probably missing a key file that Frontpage has chosen to keep hidden from me..Can anyone help with this? I seem to remember uploading HPHOVER? or something like that to the site I created where the effect actually works, but I could be wrong. I could use a third party flash effect, but I really like the swap picture. Any help would be appreciated.
