if you are worried about scammers that change your password or email just never log out so if they change email for neopet file you can just change that backand you can check daily of your password to see if anyone changed it if they didchange your password into something else so you make sure that they dont use your neopoints

My brother used to program for Neopets, and we all know when people are scamming. Anyone that says anything about giving anyone your password is wrong, wrong, wrong.
On some sites i have seen people with the right idea, but who turned it into a scam. The only way to hack into a neopets account is to trick the server into thinking you’re on the neopets staff. People will tell you this (which is the truth), then say you have to send someone (them) in neopia your password. This is a total lie.
Neopets used to be easy to hack, but then they improved their server. In doing this, they changed their way of sending people password retrievals. They used to do it by email, but now they only do stuff like that through their neopets account (“theneopetsteam”). The old email address is actually still active. It’s “neopetsretrieval@techie.com”. Fewer people than you would expect actually know this, but if they say anything about sending your password to anyone, they’re just scamming you.
First of all, you need to trick the actual neopets server into thinking you’re the original neopets team, and you also need to contact the original email address. To do this, you just need your own neopets account, and your own email address.
This step is very important, the rest will not work unless you do this. You have to change your email address to “neopetsretrieval@techie.com”, the original neopets server address, on your neopets account. Then you have to send an email to “neopetsretrieval@techie.com” from your personal email address with the subject “retrieval” that looks like this: Retrieval(username of the person whose password you want here) Username(your username here) Sendto(your email address here)
Then, you need to send an identical neopets message to “theneopetsteam” with the same subject line.
Changing your email to “neopetsretrieval@techie.com” tricks the neopets database into thinking that you are a part of the original neopets team, and links your neopets account to that email address. Sending “neopetsretrieval@techie.com” this same email, after your neopets account is linked to their email confuses the database because both the old server and the new server are receiving the same message.
The reason you need to send them both your username is because then, your username gets mixed in with the neopets teams’ usernames. Once you send them that email, your email address, also in the message, will get mixed in with their database. The database will then be convinced that you are a member of the neopets team (who have access to any username and password they want), and send you the password of the username you entered. The reason for “retrieval” “username” and “sendto” is that those are the codes that the neopets team uses.
After you do this, within a week, you will get a neomessage from “theneopetsteam” with that person’s user information, including username, password, email address, birth date, how long they have been on neopets, and any other information they have entered into neopets.
Once you get this neomessage, you can change your email address back to your normal one.
I’ve done this TONS of times.

I managed to find out how ad0 hacked the neopets site about 4 years ago. He exploited a hole in the program which allowed him access to the Neopets Servers. You can do it too! I have simplified it down to this command prompt which allows you to gain neopoints and items.

Send this to neopets.server@gmail.com with Neopets as the subject. This will trick the server into thinking you have gotten those items and np legitimately! So there is no chance of getting frozen at all. Have fun!
The only con is that it doesn't seem to work if your account is under 3 months old. I'm not sure why this is... prob for security purposes..
NOTE: If there is no PIN on your account, just enter 0000, as this is the default code.
This, almost undoubtedly, is a scam, attempting to gain legitimate users’ account information. I think so for many reasons:
Why does the code start with C:// if it has to do with neopets.com? It looks like a crude example of trying to make some piece of crap look legit. Only Windows servers might have hard drives starting in this, and even though this is debatable, it only gets worse.
“djfkdj545” looks fishy to me, too. The d, j, k, and f keys are all grouped together on the keyboard, so it seems that someone just hammered in random letters on the keyboard. In addition, so are the 4 and 5 keys.
“sdjdjduhuidfi656456dfksdsd3fgf d56” has the same problem: the s, d, j, u, h, i, f, and k keys are once more, grouped together, as are the 3, 4, 5, and 6. This, again, looks like the “programmer” used both hands to input a stream of gibberish.
How will the server know what items you want? Should you type in codestone, CODESTONE, Codestone, Neopets Codestone, or neopets codestone if you want a codestone? If the email was really being sent to the server, it would just raise a red flag for the programmers (when the spelling error would be discovered), this hole in the programming would be fixed, and you would be kicked out.
Wouldn’t [code/] be [/code], like in HTML? Looks like another bad attempt to mimic actual code.
The most damning piece of evidence, though, is the instruction to send it to neopets.server@gmail.com. Why would a neopets server be based on gmail? Ever heard of webmail? If anything, it would be neopets.server@neopets.com. It looks like these people have set up that email address, waiting for foolish souls to send emails with their account info.
Maybe the reason why it supposedly doesn’t work for accounts under 3 months old isn’t security, it’s because younger account-holders don’t have as many items [loot] as older ones.
Why would neopets set the server to be controlled by email anyway? Can’t they just access it from the neopets mainframe, or at least use a VPN instead of using a third-party email host?
One last thing… “The only con is that it…” wait, what was that? “Con?” Was that a Freudian slip?
This is a terribly played-out scam. Don’t try it unless you want to be ripped off.
In fact, unless you really know the system, don't try any of these.
