DVD burning software easiest to navigate?

 Hello, all: a friend of mine is blind and uses a screen-reading program. He
has been able to find CD burning programs that he can use but hasn't had as
much luck finding DVD burning programs (specifically programs that can burn
VOB files to DVD). Can anyone recommend the programs that are more
text-based than graphic-based? Many thanks for any suggestions.

Wow!, A blind pirate ;-)­

No not taking the p*ss my brothers blind and he does the occasional DVD but
nothing text based, He got a program from the RNIB that is much like Windows
XP's Screen Magnifier.
Of all the programs he uses I've always found them quite cumbersome to use
and pretty slow (Well the voice reading text to speech anyway) :-(­
He can JUST manage with DVD Shrink or Clone DVD once I'd pointed out which
icon did what.

Just tried one now called *unstoppable* which is more or less two drop down
menus, Copy From: and Copy To: but err my drive suddenly stopped reading on
a bad disc I'm trying to recover :-/­

 T.W, thanks a lot for the reply. Do you have a URL for this "Unstoppable"
program that you mention?

If anyone else has any other suggestions please post them here as well.

Ah Sorry I forgot to post the link for you:

Worth a try as I know it's mighty difficult to get good burning programs
that work well with Text to Speech.

be a file recovery program rather than a DVD burning program. Am I missing
something somewhere? :)­

Well SLIGHTly misleading mentioning burning, However I used it for
recovering any scratched DVD's.

It actually writes gets as much as data as it can from the damaged disc (In
the case of a movie DVD, It will copy the VIDEO_TS Folder to your Hard
Drive, I then open either Nero or Shrink to burn it.
Of course if there's no damage to the disc then there'll be faster ripping
results :-)­


I use Shrink only if the file is over the usual size to fit on 4.7Gb Discs
of course, Remember also DVD Shrink is free www.shrink.org

Sorry for the misleading info on stating it was burning software but I was
thinking of it making making the more simple VIDEO_TS Folder which would
probably help anyone visually impaired.
