i know this is c forum but still i am posting this bcoz its very urgent.i need railway reservation system software so if any one hav this in soft copy than plz mail me its very urgent or if anyone knows the link from where i can get the code of this than plz send me .

Ajay, you're kidding, right?
I'd google for it, and check out all the code depot websites, like sourceforge.net and such. Also, see what newsgroup might be most appropriate, and post your query there.

You could subcontract some of us to do the work for you. What's it worth to you>
In the meantime, you can try to reverse-engineer some of the publically available systems, www.bahn.de is reasonably good, whereas www.viarail.ca is terrible.
So, let us know what kind of commercial deal you can come up with, some of us will be happy to go into business with you.

This is something that is not always easy. Visual Basic made it very easy to interact with other databases (such as Microsoft's SQL database). However, its a little bit more confusing to write a VB6 app that can interface with an Oracle back end. Searching the web I did not find many Visual Basic 6 tutorials on this subject.
