Isn't it a repeat?
If memory serves, they ask the guy his personal email, and then flash it up on the screen

Well the email it sent to my blog by a filter. blogger has a new feature that allows you to post by email. So I don't need to waste time sending the spam to the blog, outlook does it for me.
Myself and a few I work with find some of the spam very funny and you just need to make some comments. I can't help myself. SO I decided to let outlook send all the spam to my junk folder and to a new blog.
That is why!

I was simply trying to point out that assigning a derogatory label to something you explicitly asked to recieve seems silly to me.
I reserve the term Spam for things I don't want, not things I asked for.

UCE = Unsolicited Commercial Email - Mail asking for money
UBE = Unsolicited Bulk Email
Mail lists that you have signed up for do not qualify as the above, unless it is a mail list that does not have or has a non-working unsubscribe function.
Mail lists where others have subscribed you by default without a positive affirmative response from you qualifies as spam. This is referred to as double opt-in list management.
Email from zombie, or open relay, or with otherwise forged header information qualifies as spam.
Any of the above are legitimately intercepted and blocked at our mail server boundary. We do not accept mail to non-existent addresses, not do we "review" spam as it is never accepted in the first place.
False positive? = Very rare, but in that event the sender will contact us by other means at which time they can be white-listed if the recipient wants to receive their email.
Statistics: Approximately 30 to 45% of all email attempting to deliver mail to our server is blocked as spam. Some mail servers experience as much as 65% (or higher) spam attempts. Approximately 100 virus mails are intercepted per hour on a 24/7 basis. We currently receive, filter and then relay for 144 domains.
This is a database of all the spam that House of Fusion has gotten over the last seven months. Believe it or not, it's all indexed by Google.
