yeah, but with a bit of effort a lot of times you can get a name. The person replied to presumably recognizes their quote, but other people are liable to get confused. I know I have had the problem.

It's the web interface. When replying, it puts the angle brackets in to>indicate a quote, but it doesn't include the name of who the quote was from.>
